Happy 94th birthday to Grandma! She has had a very good year!
She is surrounded by love. Everyday she enjoys going outside to see the butterflies and flowers in her yard and she even takes field trips (thanks to her great caregivers). Her Tai Chi friends, family members and neighbors came to her cottage and had a lovely birthday party! Grandma said she wanted a big party and that is what she had!
Celebrate the 90’s (written by S.Watson for all Nonagenarians!)
91 and having fun.
92 with lots to do,
93 free to be me,
94 ready for more,
95 and still alive,
96 and nothing to fix,
97 thinking of heaven,
98 heaven can wait,
99 and feeling fine,
100 (one zero zero)
You are our hero!

I recently attended an Annual Ladies Tea at a small local church. It was a fun event. The room was filled with over 80 ladies, who enjoyed tea and delicious tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. There was a lot of hugging, talking and laughing going on! Friends caught up with the lives of their friends that maybe they hadn’t seen since last year’s tea. The festivities included a Fancy Hat contest, and raffles and prizes but the highlight for me was when all the ladies who were 90 years of age or older were asked to come to the front of the room for a picture. Everyone was shocked that these vibrant, beautiful women were over 90! The median age was 94 and the oldest was 97! Thought you would love to see healthy, happy 90+ year olds that were enjoying every moment of their lives!
